Release Notes

This is an incremental upgrade to 1.7.666b with some minor improvements and fixes to the rendering, sound and network code. It supersedes 1.7.666b, which has now been removed. This is the last of the 1.7.x line (barring any emergency bugfix releases); the next full release will be 1.8 (finally!)

If you downloaded this before this notice arrived, please download it again as I had accidentally packaged a wrong version.

Spoke 2 soon, I was just entering the 2nd level of the 1st episode. I was just coming out of the water to a secret section and was dumped back to dos. MS error reporting came up, but didn't really say what went wrong.
